Undergraduates (students in bachelor programmes)

Students who are participating in a master’s programme at a university outside Europe or have successfully completed at least four semesters of studies within a bachelor’s- or diploma programme at the time of taking up the grant can apply.

Country of origin: Non-European countries
Area of study or research: all disciplines
Duration: 4 – 10 months
Closing date for application: March 1st (for the following academic year) at www.scholarships.at

Research scholarships are available for two categories of students:

  • Those students who are descendants of forced labourers.
  • Those students who come from countries that have exceptionally suffered from the Nazi regime, especially from the recruitment of forced labourers.

Students pursuing a diploma or master’s degree programme outside Austria for carrying out research work for their diploma or master’s thesis.
